Welcome to our new MakerSpace!

Learn, Create and Make

Located on the third floor of the Main Library, the Hoboken MakerSpace is a public space:  a place where the library fosters learning and creativity through education and access to tools.  We host classes and collaborative projects and have the space open for general use.  Our tools and classes feature a variety of technologies, arts & crafts, and music.

MakerSpace Schedule*:

Mon: 12:00pm-7:45pm
Tue-Thu: 10:00am-7:45pm
Fri-Sat: 10:00pm-4:45pm
Sun: 10:00am-2:45pm

*pending staff availability.  Please feel free to contact the MakerSpace at 201-420-2346 x 5112 prior to arriving.

No appointment or registration required!  An assortment of items will be available for use and a staff member will be present to assist.  Those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  MakerSpace use is for ages 5 and up.

Open Tech Time

On Mondays, from 3:00 pm to 7:45 pm, we feature Open Tech Time.  Bring your own technology or computer questions and we will try to help.

  • Various percussion instruments  i.e. Tibetan Sound Bowls
  • Cricut Maker 3
