We are thrilled to announce that our library is an award recipient of the Connecting Community Digital Initiative from the Library of Congress!
The name of our project is The Puerto Rican Experience in Hoboken and America. By the end of the year, we’ll organize your experiences into an online exhibit and your contributions would be helpful. Learn more about our project and the team here.
We want to know:
- Growing up in Hoboken: Share your experiences as a Puerto Rican
- What was it like when your family immigrated from Puerto Rico to Hoboken?
- Significant places: churches, stores, or locations you visited in Hoboken
- Family and friends: Did any of them relocate to the suburbs or Puerto Rico?
- Organizations: Were you part of any groups in Hoboken?
