This is a self-led design space! We’ll teach you what you need to know, and answer any questions, but the actual crafting will all come from your hands!

While you are always welcome to brainstorm in the MakerSpace, we usually suggest coming in with at least a general idea to start with!

The MakerSpace itself, and use of our equipment, is totally free! The materials you’ll need for different projects may vary in cost and availability if you want to purchase them through the MakerSpace itself. Click here for a full pricing list.

Yes!! We encourage bringing your own materials to craft with. If you want to ensure compatibility, feel free to reach out to us via email or phone.

For embroidery, most types of fabrics will work, however we highly recommend using a fabric that has little to no stretch, or purchasing fabric specifically made for embroidering on, such as 100% cotton or muslin, to ensure success in your crafting.

It depends! Different factors such as how long you spend designing, how many items you want to make, and how busy the MakerSpace is at a given time can all greatly influence how much time you spend with us.

Typically, however, the actual time spent embroidering a design averages about an hour.

Nope! You’re welcome to do your own research, but we are here to guide you on use and safety, so there’s no need to have prior knowledge or experience when coming to use the MakerSpace.

Yes we do! Any tools necessary for basic use of our equipment are available in the MakerSpace. If you want to double check whether or not we have a specific tool, feel free to reach out to us directly.
